When I started building websites, there was a maximum width I had to work with - 800x600. That was the default resolution of many 15" monitors in use at the time (late 90s). You couldn't build a website wider than that, or it would force the user to scroll HORIZONTALLY, the most dreaded of all fates!
The first annual DrupalCamp Twin Cities came and went this past May, and I'd say it was a great success.

Just signed up for my first DrupalCon, the biggest Drupal convention in the U.S., held once a year. This year it's Chicago, where I have lot of family and family roots, so I had to go. Plus it's somewhat close. If you call a 7 hour drive close. Coming up in March, 2011.
Other than cost, timing is probably the most frequently asked question when building a website. Most people (understandably) have never been involved in building a site, and have no idea what goes into the process or how long it takes. Expectations are all over the map, but generally the consensus is "I'd like it done as soon possible."
