Planning Your Privacy Experience

As site owners, editors, designers and developers, we are constantly having to learn and adapt new tools and techniques.

Much like we've adapted to new practices such as responsive design and online accessibility, it's time to re-examine how our work impacts user privacy. This new discipline is called Privacy Experience, or PX for short. It involves planning how to manage and protect user privacy at all stages of a redesign, and following best practices along the way. With new privacy laws and regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA, it's also becoming a legal mandate.
